The UK’s most active social age groups are… 

16 – 24… 93% of internet users have at least one social media profile

In total, 78% of all UK internet users now have at least one social media profile.

Of Britons with a social media profile… 

81% will access it daily.

97% of those… 

Have a Facebook profile.

And…

48% of those… 

Only have a Facebook profile.

But… 

SnapChat is now the most popular network amongst 12-15 year olds, and nearly a quarter of those use it more than ten times per day.

Twitter… 

Has the second biggest digital audience in the UK after Facebook- 26% of adults have an account, as do 40% of 16-24 year olds.

In March 2015… 

A survey was carried out analysing how much time Britain spent on Facebook and its other properties. Astonishingly, it was 51billion minutes in the month. Comparatively, we only spent 34billion minutes on Google’s properties.

Two thirds of the British population will buy something online… 

At least every month.

Since 2010… 

UK residents have increased the amount of time they spend consuming media and communicating via media devices by 26%.
