Carlsberg is well on its way to a headline-grabbing hatrick of PR and marketing triumphs. Following its relaunch and admission of (probably) not being the best beer in the world, it unveiled a red beer dedicated to Liverpool FC. The club just made it into the Champion’s League final after one of the greatest football comebacks of all time, and has been sponsored by the brand for 20 years.

BBC broadcaster Danny Baker has been the talk of media town for all the wrong reasons after posting an image of a chimp and two human parents, along with a reference to the new royal baby. Despite his claims not to have known which blue-bloods had been blessed this time and claiming it was an innocent joke about the Windsors, the man who once encouraged people to get their laundry ‘whiter than white’ has been sacked and branded racist.
