Particularly relevant this month considering everyone is supposed to be happy and festive, yet an alarming proportion of the population feel isolated and alone.

Yesterday O2 customers across the country found themselves unable to use data, receive or make calls without a WiFi connection as the network experienced a massive outage. That’s bad enough for the brand reputation, meanwhile a recent survey of 2,000 Britons showing many often go 24-hours without speaking to another person, in person, paints our reliance on technology for communication in a particularly damaging light.
