Ten years in the making, Planet Earth II is arguably the finest media achievement of 2016.

McDonalds has staggered every sane person aware of the situation this week by deciding to sue the Italian arts hub of Florence to the tune of €17.8million. The firm believes it will lose this amount over the next 18 years now a technical panel charged with preserving the historic city centre has blocked a move to open an outlet of the fast food giant in the iconic Piazza del Duomo.
