As Manchester basked in warm sunshine, we secured a major new client, and were ranked amongst the region’s finest agencies. Good news all round, anyone?
First and foremost, it gives us great pleasure to announce Smoking Gun PR will be now be handling public relations and social media responsibilities for SilentNight Group. A familiar household name, the Silentnight brand is a welcome addition to our current client fold.
As most people know, the all-British brand is the UK’s number one bed manufacturer, and boasts a 60-year history in the field of sleep expertise. Needless to say then, it’s an honour and a privilege to help the firm on its mission to improve everyone’s 40 winks.
Staff in our office are also busy working on another new project, this time as representatives of Valour Finance. The financial services organisation wants to raise awarness of its CSR push with a public relations push, so clearly our team is well positioned to deliver the desired results.
Away from campaigns, and Smoking Gun PR was placed amongst the north’s Top 30 PR Agencies by industry news site Prolific North. Based on overall performance, including client payments, growth, and financial reserves, it’s an impressive result, not least considering the company’s age.
Of course such achievements aren’t possible without high calibre staff, and we’re delighted to draw attention to our senior account manager, Lisa Hollinshead. After setting up the successful lifestyle blog Sydney101 when she lived Down Under, sister domains London101 and Manchester101 followed after moving back to the UK, and the trio are now doing so well Cosmopolitan has run an interview with her to discuss these digital triumphs. So it goes without saying recent times have been busy, and this is before we even mention a certain DM campaign starring a certain prominent Smoking Gun face that has been doing the rounds of late. It makes for rather memorable viewing, as anyone who has already seen it will know only too well, but we’re saying no more. Update complete, see you in another four weeks.
