March 2014 in the Smoking Gun PR study
This month has, in many ways, been defined by uncertainties. Questions remain unanswered as to the affordability of the final pre-election budget, international search efforts struggled to locate missing airliners, and western sanctions placed on Russia could disrupt the flow of energy to many European countries. Thankfully, though, here on Quay Street we’ve been a little more sure of ourselves.
Which isn’t surprising, given recent news. As regular readers of our blog will already know, Smoking Gun PR has just won the Golden Hedgehog Best Small PR Agency Award. Retaining the title for the second year running no less, the accolade arrived in the wake of an announcement that our team has also been nominated for the Prolific North Best Small PR Agency title, with that ceremony due to take place on 1st May 2014.
Of course trophies can only get you so far, and clients will always be much more important. As such it gives us great pleasure to reveal our public relations experts are currently dotting is and crossing ts on a brand new campaign for a major financial services client. Unfortunately that’s about as much as we can say right now, but watch this space in the coming weeks and all will become clear.
And, in addition to this, we’re thrilled to announce that ongoing growth in terms of staff numbers and workload means we’re now preparing for a change of scenery, and very soon will be moving offices in order to accommodate our continued expansion. Details to be shared very soon, and we look forward to welcoming you to our new home.
