PR Senior Account Executive job: 

Smoking Gun has opened a PR Senior Account Executive job in Manchester and welcomes applicants now!

We are hiring! An opportunity has arisen for a super-driven PR Senior Account Executive to join our team at Smoking Gun.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years fast-paced agency experience to work across a number of consumer sectors from personal finance to parenting, healthcare to sport.

You need to be a capable and confident operator who has learnt the required media and communication skills to deliver award-winning work for our clients. While you will work with our account managers/ directors to implement strategies, we are looking for someone who has the ability to be self-sufficient, capable of running smaller accounts with minimal guidance and support. 

Senior Account Executive – Core skills required:

  • Creative thinker 
  • Excellent copywriter across all forms of communications
  • Highly proficient in media relations with a strong news sense
  • Solid understanding of measurement tools and metrics, with the ability to compile accurate  campaign reports for clients 
  • Input into new business proposals, from ideas to pitching
  • A good understanding of social media channels and how to utilise them
  • Influencer relations strategy and implementation
  • Knowledge and experience in PR for SEO
